Below you will find firmware and other files for Samsung products that can be used with Smartsign. These are not always the latest version, but they are versions that have been tested and are known to work with Smartsign. If you do not find the correct firmware for you screen, please contact Samsung B2B Support.
If you are using Smartsign on-premises and want to update screens remotely, please see Player versions for instructions on how to upload and configure firmware on the server.
All files and content is provided as a service and Smartsign takes no responsibility for their use.
Manual firmware update instructions
1. Download the latest firmware for your screen
2. Unpack the file (using for example WinRAR or 7-zip)
3. Connect a FAT32 formatted USB stick to your computer
4. Create a folder in the root of the USB stick and name it after the
firmware (for example USB:\T-GFSLDWWC or USB:\T-HKMLAKUC)
5. Copy the folder “image” from the firmware archive to the folder on
the USB stick ( Example with complete path: USB:\T-GFSLE2AKUC\image )
6. Connect the USB stick to the SSSP Screen
7. Switch to another input such as VGA, HDMI or DVI
8. Press Menu on the remote, Select Support and then Software Update
9. Select by USB (If you can’t select USB or if it can’t find firmware,
check that you have created the folder structure correctly)
10. Follow instructions on screen
